Rudy Rupak has had an entrepreneurial spirit his whole life. In high school he began selling office supplies to other students in need. Later he sold VHS tapes out of his locker which then turned into a small movie rental business.

After high school, Rudy wanted a more lucrative business. His first company specialized in desktop publishing. Always on the cutting edge, his company was fruitful and he sold it to another company that later became IBM Canada.

Rudy took a break from starting companies to pursue medical school. He soon realized that becoming a doctor was not in the cards for him; however, he found a new industry that he could improve upon: medical tourism. Medical tourism allows patients to receive medical treatment and operations at a low cost in other countries.

Currently, Rudy is spending his time investing in start-up companies to help them increase their online presence, mobile marketing, and improve internal technologies while remaining within their budget. His new apps are Shopper, Joyride, Dharma Credit and ScaleUps.

Rudy has also always had a penchant for film. He loves everything from science fiction movies to documentaries, and directors Kubrick, Spielberg, Hitchcock, and Quentin Tarantino. Rudy produced two movies himself which you can read about here.
